COMMON QUESTIONS

Short-drama downloader FAQ

Answers about supported links, failed pages, formats, and access limits.

Which ShortTV links can I paste?

Both the /episode/ and /drama/ pages work, with or without a locale prefix. The episode page carries the whole playlet in its server payload, so one request lists every episode; the adapter normalises any episode link to episode 1 before reading it.

Why are some ShortTV episodes shown as locked?

ShortTV marks the last free episode with `lockBegin`: a value of 5 means episodes 1–5 ship media addresses and 6 and up ship none at all. This build only offers rows that are inside that window and actually carry an address.

What file do I get from a ShortTV episode?

One MP4 per episode, assembled in your browser from the 1080p H.264 HLS rendition without re-encoding. ShortTV encrypts each segment with AES-128-CBC and keeps the key inside the segment's own 1 KB header, so the relay decodes the bytes before the browser assembles them.

Do ShortTV media links expire?

Yes, more visibly than on other platforms: each rendition URL carries an `auth_key` valid for about four hours. The catalogue is cached for thirty minutes and re-read for every download, which keeps a normal queue well inside that window.
